We celebrated the birthday of a friend who has been very involved with Pegasus. And in her yard, we were shown memorial
plaques for a dozen horses that changed the lives of children with disabilities and special needs.

We hiked around Swan Lake in Rockefeller Park in New York with a Darien Men’s Association group. This is horse country,
but we didn’t see any horses – and neither did we see swans on the lake.

We saw The Chorus Line at Goodspeed, which was incredible. Then we had dinner with John’s brother, who is spending three
weeks in Poland, where he’ll visit places he saw and friends he made, when he helped set up the Business Department at a
university there. This was shortly after Poland became a Democratic country.

Erica Wood spoke about Rossholme Education Centre at the services of Noroton Presbyterian Church. Rossholme is in Kiambiu
slum of Nairobi – and really needs to have its classrooms upgraded for the 505 students who are there.
