We hiked one of the trails in Deer Pond Farm in Sherman, CT. It is part of Connecticut Audubon Society which covers
850 acres. There was a bit of snow there, so we had our first taste of winter. Afterwards, we had lunch and tasted
the pies at American Pie.

The women in the 6:15 am bible study at Noroton Presbyterian Church in Darien, Connecticut had a Christmas Breakfast.
Marilyn and twenty or so others had studied and discussed “The Fruit of the Spirit” during the fall season.

PEP, which stands for People Encouraging People, gathered in the late afternoon in the chapel at Noroton Presbyterian
Church to sing Christmas Carols. And afterwards everyone enjoyed cider and beautifully decorated cookies.

We joined friends and went to sing carols at the homes of friends who are not able to get around like they used to do.
We were invited into some of the homes for cookies and then we enjoyed chili in the home of one of the carolers.

It felt like summertime when we arrived at The Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. The next day it rained – and the
day after that there was a blizzard with snow and high gusts of wind. Our last day there was beautiful! And Marilyn got
to snowshoe up the hill to the chapel.
