Ripples International
in Meru, Kenya. All of these beautiful
children were abandoned - and now need adoptive or foster families to love and care for them.

We visited a young man at Burieruri Boys Secondary School near Maua, Kenya. He is in the Sponsored Children Program of Ripples
International – and we’ve known him since he arrived at Ripples when he was two years old. His favorite subject is Biology – we’re
hoping he’ll go on to do some great work in the medical field. He also enjoys coding in his free time.

We had lunch at Alba in Meru with a friend we met when she was with Ripples Int’l in 2008. Now she works at Embu
University - and has a daughter in her first year at Catholic University in Nairobi. And she has a sister in Toronto,
Ontario, Canada and a sister in Texas and two sisters in Wisconsin and nieces and nephews who visit during their
summer holidays.
