We enjoyed dinner with an evangelist from Rome who is a Mission Partner of NPC. She is with Agape, which is
part of Cru (formerly Campus Crusade) and she encourages unchurched university students to get to know Jesus
and to have a personal relationship with him.

We attended a coming and going away party at NPC. We welcomed Evalyn Wakhusama, who is a Mission Partner of
NPC, and the Founder and Director of Nambale Magnet School in Kenya. And we wished a long-time Mission Team
member all the best in his new life in Tokyo.

Ninety-five women spent a weekend on retreat at Wisdom House in Historic Litchfield, CT. Most were members of NPC,
and some were former members and came from other places. The theme was “Unhurried Grace” – and Cheryl Flectcher was
the guest speaker. Although it wasn’t a silent retreat, these women spent 90 minutes in solitude to hear the still
small voce of God.
