Our Highlights in March
DMA Hike
We attended a Music for Youth concert in Greenfields Congreational Church and saw and heard our young violist friend from Australia perform. She is back studying at Manhattan School of Music in New York City, after having left for her homeland in 2020 when Covid started. Her program included pieces of Ludwig van Beethoven and Frederic Chopin.

Christmas Breakfast
The staff and some members of Noroton Presbyterian Church in Darien are hosting Dinners for Eight in their homes. One Saturday evening, we enjoyed getting to know new friends and some delicious Hawaiian food.

Thirteen new members were welcomed into Noroton Presbyterian Church, including two teens who were baptised. Everyone had attended classes, lead by the pastors of NPC, on two Sunday mornings. On a third Sunday morning they had a wonderful breakfast before they took their membership vows and were presented to the congregation.

Christmas Carrolers
Rosemary Mace, who has been a member of NPC for her entire life, presented The Early History of NPC at a PEP gathering. PEP stands for People (55 and over) Encouraging People – and the church was built in 1869 (156 years ago).

We and two Uzima Fund board members enjoyed a wonderful evening of getting to know the two new pastors of St. John Church in Darien. And they learned about Uzima which raises funds for 50 needy students in Kitale, Kenya to attend good Catholic Boarding Schools.
